I grew up in Le Roy. The school here is very good, the teachers are kind and care about their students. The community is one that I would want my future kids to grow up in. Le Roy is located close to Rochester and Batavia (job opportunities, shopping, etc.) but is also a small town in character.
Its a great town and I love all the people. Everyone is friendly and the school district is very good. I wish there were more job opportunities for high school students but it is a great town overall.
LeRoy is a small town located in Western New York. The small town feel is very apparent in a town such as LeRoy; the residents of the town are very connected and in tune with one another.
Very quaint town with many activities to do on a daily basis. Great community to grow up in! very good public school with great athletics programs and close to a few rather large cities.
I love the rural surrounding and the friendliness. It is clean and historic. We have the Jello factory an long with Oatka Creek. The property taxes are a little high but the beautiful scenic roads make it worth while and out way the negatives. It is also close to the expressway and I-90 which makes it convenient for easy access to the larger cities for job commute.
It works out in the long run for every one
The local businesses in the area are going out of business but those that still thrive are strong
There is little transportation unless you own a form of transportation
There are not many jobs in this area, most people commute 30 or more minutes to a job. Most local businesses in this area are closing.
