The winter here is very long and includes large scale snow storms, ice storms, and below freezing temperatures. This affects travel and people often don't want to move here because of it. The falls and springs are very short and summer can be decently warm but it can be very humid. Due to the long winters, snow boots, and large winter coats are a must.

For a military installation it's pretty decent, I mean it could be worse. In reality it's not the greatest compared to other military installations and though.
Most Peole are attracted to the thousand islands, Alexandria Bay, and sackets harbor. There are many historic landmarks from the war of 1812, beautiful views, and numerous events held during the summer.
