Le Mars is an amazing town to be born and raised in! It is the perfect in between for a feeling of a small town and big town! Everyone here cares about each other. The last few years Le Mars community has had some tragedies. The entire town came together in those times. Citizens would help each other by preparing meals, helping on the farms, starting prayer chains, and much more. Le Mars is great at making everyone feel like they belong here. It is a safe place for all ages. There is no better place than L town!

Le Mars is a safe and close-knit town. It has a strong sense of community. The schools are good, especially in the music departments. It is a good place for a family. The locals are friendly. It is home to Blue Bunny ice cream, so its and ice cream lover's dream. However, there isn't much to do for entertainment. It is close enough to Sioux City for day trips down to do fun things.
There are qualities to this town that are admirable one being the schools. This is about the extent of its offerings. Very small town vibe which translates to your neighbors knowing everything about your personal life, and if they don't, they are sure to try and find out. Nightlife here is practically non existent, unless you enjoy spending time in far outdated bars that have three types of beer being, Bud Light, Miller High Life, and Budweiser. If you are interested in eating healthy, best of luck, it's nearly useless trying to find anything organic in any of the grocery stores. I can be somewhat bitter about this place, but I promise it is because I have lived in places that far outweigh this one in many ways.
