Lawrenceville, GA, a city brimming with charm and warmth. I loved its vibrant community, filled with friendly faces and a strong sense of togetherness. The historic downtown area, with its quaint shops and cozy cafes, was a personal favorite. However, I would like to see more investment in public transportation to alleviate traffic congestion. Additionally, expanding recreational spaces and promoting environmental sustainability would further enhance the city's appeal. Overall, Lawrenceville captured my heart with its unique character, but a focus on infrastructure and environmental initiatives would make it even more exceptional.
Lawrenceville is a city located in Gwinnett County, Georgia. The city has a population of approximately 29000 people. The city has strong economy base on lots of infrastructure and facilities support the area such as medical center and Gwinnett County public school. Lawrenceville also host many regular art festivals, concerts and other events throughout the year as an example of cultural attractions and that is one of my favorite part of the city. Transportation system is good with easy access to several major highways and it also has very convenience transit system. But on the other side, I would like to see the improvement in transportation during rush hours without traffic jam.
In my opinion, it depends on what side of Lawrenceville you're on. I live with my family on the south side of Lawrenceville which borders Snellville, Grayson, and Lilburn. I have lived in the Lawrenceville area for 14 years. Although there are a few things to do on my side of town, such as going to Stone Mountain. I think being on the Northern side of Lawrenceville is more fun because there is closer access to attractions such as Sugarloaf Mills Mall, the Mall of Georgia, and places like Suwanee, Dacula, and Buford. I am the type of person who just likes car rides. However, my overall issue with living in Lawrenceville is the walkability of the city and public transit. Downtown Lawrenceville is pedestrian friendly for the most part. You can't really get around Lawrenceville without a car. The Gwinnett County Transit only takes you so far in Lawrenceville, and the train station to get to Atlanta is 25 minutes away, which is another con of living in Lawrenceville.
