Living in Laureles for the past 19 years, I have learned to love the quietness of it. It is peaceful. No one messes with you. I would like to see more stores around the area though. We are dependent on a Dollar General store and some local business around the area, but if purchases need to be done, you have to drive into Los Fresnos' town for Wal-Mart, or all the way Brownsville for the use of their mall.

There are people walking late at night but that's probably the only worry we should have, there's not really any vandalism or any crimes as such through the area.
I would probably choose to live somewhere else, but mostly just for the diversity.
