There aren't many extreme natural disasters that have occurred. There has only been one earthquake and one hurricane within the past fifteen years that were slightly substantial, but did not cause very much damage.

Very close to the Police station, so you do see cops frequently. Very safe, I (a single female) can walk my dog late at night and still feel safe.
There is a good amount of different shops to visit, whether it be for retail or convenience. Big companies are more prominent than smaller stores.
