I personally haven't had any problems. The neighborhood is pretty quiet, neighbors are friendly, and shops are within walking distance. Lauderhill is a great city . Lauderhill is a suburb of Fort Lauderdale with a population of 71,827. Lauderhill is in Broward County. Living in Lauderhill offers residents an urban feel and most residents own their homes. In Lauderhill there are a lot of parks.
Its quiet on the street where I live but the crime rate is way too high, children are not safe, police don't patrol the streets enough in this city, as opposed to other cities I drive through and see heavy police presence. Wish I could afford a better neighborhood to raise children. Other than that the city of Lauderhill itself does care about its residents (school supply drives, workshops for homeowners and business owners, fitness events) but safety is a top concern.
Very derelict neighborhood. Homeless and use of crack highly affects my neighborhood, along with a rude general population in the way the majority carries themselves. The only "good" here in my opinion, would be the low cost of rent compared to Miami. Expect to pay anywhere from $600-1,000 rent depending on complex you are looking for.
I've lived in Lauderhill for about 2 years and though I don't venture to the area commonly I do like it here. The people are nice, there is always a shopping center open so you can always find what you need. It's an overall accessible place to all.
I can admit my city is not the safest city to live in but, its a great community and you can make tons of friends. Lauderhill is not very clean... at all. The recycle people stopped coming to my neighborhood just because the recyclables was apparently they were to dirty.
Relatively safe and clean. Stores and schools are within walking distance. The parks and well maintained. We have lived here for over 20 years and still have some of our original neighbors
Lauderhill is a great city. I can say this because I’ve lived here for over 18 years. Throughout my time here, I’ve enjoyed the many beautiful parks and amenities that surround the area. There are shops and plazas nearby that don’t require much commute time, and there are free monthly events, such as concerts that help bring people together and provide a good experience!
Overall the experience was pretty good. The crime rate isn't bad and I feel safe in my community for the most part.
We just moved to Lauderhill and there are nice parks and areas to bring by daughter and there is a lot of restaurants and shopping near by which is also great.
The only thing I would like to see changed in Lauderhill is the surroundings, there are not that many places to go that are in close distance of the neighborhood, of you do not live in a Jewish Community. However, the scenery is amazing, and it can be seen that it is taken care of.
I’ve lived in lauderhill for almost 9 years now. All around a very peaceful place, not too loud but not too quiet and very diverse! I think that’s my favorite thing about this city. Literally a melting pot
Overall the community is good but it needs some upgrades and more active people. The schools need better teachers so students can truly learn.
Everything is nearby. There are tons of amenities available within a close range.
In Lauderhill, everybody is cordial with everyone. There is no animosity, it’s almost as if everyone is riding the same journey and trying to get by. There are a lot children in the community of all ages, we all find ourselves preoccupied with something to do: academics, summer camps, after care, field trips, going to the park with a group of friends.

Living in Lauderhill has most definitely been a struggle. Lots of high crime and murders. I moved to the city of Lauderhill during the year of 2014 while in 6th grade. The first week prior to moving there, posters were plastered up of citizens that have been murder. As a senior now, police swarm the streets daily. I live in fear of being robbed or killed.
I have been living in Lauderhill for the past three years. So far I have liked my stay because my neighborhood is quiet.
I have lived in Lauderhill for about 12 years now and I have enjoyed everything about it. The schools, the nightlife, and the communities.
