Lathrup Village is a great place to live, it's filled with trees and the park is lovely. It's completely surrounded by Southfield, which means rush hour is a little bit of a squeeze, but otherwise I love living here.
Bonus: the local ordinances allow the care and keeping of chickens, so diverse pet options!

I love it here. No crime, clean, beautiful homes, great city services, I could go on. Only downfall is the high property taxes, which is common in older communities in Michigan.
