I would like to see more nightlife and community events. I would also like to see more collaboration with Mamaroneck events.
LARCHMONT is a wonderful place to live: great schools, nice restaurants, charming homes and some excellent parks.

LARCHMONT stands out from the crowd for two reasons: it’s proximity to NYC and it’s waterfront. The half hour train ride to midtown Manhattan is convenient by New York standards; Manor Park lines the waterfront. The only problem is that it’s too expensive and not at all diverse.
It is a very cute town. It is easy to get around and there are good places to eat. Walters hotdogs is famous and delicious.

The town has been a great place to grow up in, but often leaves children overly sheltered and not always aware of people or communities who live differently.
I've lived in Larchmont my entire life and have enjoyed a peaceful time in this town. There are plenty of quaint shops and dining places, as well as parks to spend time with nature in. This town could use more diversity. The public school district is pretty good.
20-year resident except for two years I tried living in the City. Couldn't wait to get back. Small town feel with a lot of amenities (restaurants, coffee shops, etc.), and only a half hour to forty minutes by train from midtown.
Located on Long Island Sound, small village feel, diverse community and close proximity to NYC. Excellent schools, beautiful parks, lakes and many amenities.
Larchmont is a small town 30 minutes away from Manhattan. This town is safe and has great public schools. I lived here for about 20 years, raised my kids and enjoyed my neighbors living in harmony and peace together. Larchmont has a great library, playgrounds, friendly people, shops and access to the center of the world, Manhattan, easily. It is clean and beautiful. We love Larchmont.
I always loved the waterfront, the walkability, and the great schools. Also, there are so many lovely homes, some great running add waking paths and even, at times, a rustic feel despite the fact that Manhattan is ~30 minutes away !
Larchmont is a wonderful place to live. It's a town filled with great people to go along with great schools and great athletics. Its very family friendly with a lot of great places to hang out and its a very safe place to live. The one poor thing about the town is how pricey it is to live there. Taxes are very high, meaning many shops and stores go out of business but if money isn't a problem, its wonderful
Great town, great people. I love the traditions that bring the community together, like the Rag a Muffin parade or hot dogs on July 4th. One of Larchmont's few drawbacks is the cost-- real estate is expensive-- but it is very walkable and close to NYC.
Great place to live, especially if you like the water. Great balance between city and suburb life because you can easily commute into New York City on the train.
There is not a lot of crime. Not excessive. Generally feel safe.
It's a nice town. Great place for families. Wealthy area.
