Land O Lakes is very family friendly. You will find schools, churches, parks and tons of shopping! I think it would be nice if there were more access to outdoor activities. I imagine if there was a place to utilize the many lakes found here such as kayaking would make a great addition to this town. One of the only cons I can mention is traffic. A solution to this would to make more roads or expand existing ones.
Land O Lakes, Florida, is a vibrant and growing community known for its natural beauty and strong sense of community. The area offers stunning lakes, outdoor activities, and a tight-knit neighborhood. Residents enjoy convenient amenities, top-rated schools, and proximity to larger cities like Tampa. While traffic congestion can be an issue, the local government is actively working on improvements. Overall, Land O Lakes is a fantastic place to live with a high quality of life.
It was a wonderful place when I moved here about 5 years ago, it had that country living feel and a city vibe. It was nice to get to places quickly and see a lot of the wildlife that roam around. Today it is more crowded with a lot of people moving, and builders building apartment buildings and housing communities. So much more traffic, people and when school is in session, the intersection is beyond busy, kids get to school late. They need to build another middle school and high school so that the classes aren't so crowded. We don't get to see as much wildlife roaming around because they keep building and taking away from their environment, so the animals have to find other sources to live.
