Lots of stuff to do; many restaurants of all types, sports, dance studios, malls, and parks. The school district is great, and many middle/upper-middle class families live here. People are caring, and it's a very safe area to raise children! Additionally, it is only a short drive away from the Mall of America and Minneapolis and St. Paul. The only thing I wish is that they opened a Chipotle here sooner!

The city of Lakeville give both the feeling of living conveniently in the suburbs, yet it still has the sense of serene country living. Lakeville is a very friendly community full of diversity, young families, professionals and retirees. One of the advantages of living in the community of Lakeville is, it's conveniently located 20 minutes from Minneapolis/St.Paul airport. The education systems is growing with the community. The school district consist of two high schools, three middle schools and seven elementary schools. In addition, Lakeville offers many recreational activities such as the arts, sports, academics and wellness programs. This quaint and charming town has a lot to offer to citizens of all ages.
Lakeville's downtown is cute, and has gotten some fun restaurants. Chipotle just opened up. The city is growing in leaps and bounds. The post office is not keeping up well. Unpleasantries when reaching out to the city zoning/water drainage teams. Farm land is being developed into housing development after housing development. In hindsight, I regret moving to Lakeville. People don't want to talk about the bad points. They sweep it under the rug and pretend it isn't there.
