I like how Lakeside has a high school that offers a language program that goes from freshman through senior year. Lakeside is small but has access to different places and things fro people of all ages. There's access to the local casino, a skate park, a couple of Starbucks, even the local library, there are so many things to do in Lakeside that it's hard to remember how small it is. If I were to change things about Lakeside, maybe the more low-income areas, bring them up to code and make them safer for inhabitants and people just passing through. Not only that but the underlying fact that there are students that get more of an advantage just because they happened to be placed in the language program when they were younger, then stuck with it. That specific group of students recognizes each other yet doesn't completely acknowledge that there is another level to the program. But at the same time, you can't tell who is or isn't in the program just by looking at them, which is nice.
Located in East County, this suburb of San Diego is home to the conservative heart of the city. If you love Trump, you will love this area. If you would prefer something more progressive, don't move here. Everything is pretty spaced out and public transportation is terrible, so you will need a car. It's very suburby, so if that's your thing you will love it. If not, again, not the place for you.
Lakeside is know for its meth but it is honestly a small part in my home town. Technically it is not a town without a mayor, it is a village and my friends here are my people. This place has many fun activities and has worked hard to create an active and busy environment in Lakeside. Dull moments are void in such a great place. People here try and create new events such as our new Christmas Festival, anime fest, mini comic con and so much more. I represent Lakeside and I always strive to make it a better place. I have made a few clubs that became popular.
