The area I live in is the prime destination for any family looking for quiet, yet optimistic, place to live. New local cuisines are constantly opening up just a few miles away, and the addition of public infrastructure enhancements, such as a large new community park, make living here an enjoyment in a multitude of ways. During the day, the neighborhood is bustling with life; families going on walks, happy people walking their dogs, and children riding their bikes are what brighten up the days here. Even still, the nights are much quieter and serene, as the dawning of the sun brings forth a cease to the busy day, and the start of a peaceful slumber. Like the joyous environment the area resides, the culture that can be found is just as amazing! A diversity of ages and ethnicities diffuses throughout the neighborhood, bringing out loads of positivity, community service, and lovely decorations year-round! With a well-esteemed YMCA just a couple minutes down the road, a massive new park and a ton of local restaurants to bring you a variety of culinary delicacies, there's always something to do here! If an overall stable and great quality of life is what you wish, then look no further!

I like Lakeside because it is a friendly family community. The neighborhood has two pools, one is small and the other is a large luxury pool with waterfalls. Everyone is nice, supportive, and friendly to one another and are willing to help others out. To make it safe, the neighborhood pup speed bumps so people don't speed and signs that say "children at play". Its a gated community, but the one thing I didn't like is that the gates a can be easily broken or taken down.
Crime is happening all around and in my neighborhood. I look in the newspaper and see reported cars being broken into and robberies of local restaurants. Having growing up here since a way little I feel generally comfortable in my home and outside. When I hear of the harmful events occurring it defiantly makes me more aware of my safety. The neighborhood does have a sheriff on patrol so it provides even more comfort. Businesses and buildings seem to be moving closer so theft and robberies are increasing which is becoming a concern. Robbers tend to flee to neighborhood backyards and I wouldn't be lying if I didn't say it has happened to me before. The police were already aware of this man who stole something from the local Walmart, and were chasing him down as he went hoping fences into my backyard and into the neighbors. It was a good thing he wasn't armed because of how close it all occurred.
