I like that it has a lot of sports places and nice views. I really like the views you can see here. I definitely do not like the people, they are all self centered. You really feel alone, no friendly people around. It is a really boring town too, you always do and see the same things around here. It is also mostly a virgin territory, not much build around this area.

I have lived, and am still currently living in lakemoor. Although it is not my favorite place lakemoor has been my home. Its where I grew up with my siblings and its a part of me. I wish that the community could grow and become a safer place. Not every road in my small neighborhood is great, we barely have any stores or interesting places to visit. The community has grown over the years but the area where I live has stayed the same while more and more homes are being built where a lot of wildlife once lived. I think it would've been a smarter move to update the original town of lakemoor instead of detroying the wildlife to make new homes that are rarely lived in.
Living here in Lakemoor for the last 3 years, I would say that this is one of the most safety places in the county of McHenry and the state of Illinois. You'll find a great community with friendly faces. The authorities are always patrolling the neighborhood to provide each resident a peace of mind that they all deserve. The Chief for the local Police Department always trying to help and assist anyone and everyone at any time. Since I been here, I have never hear about any vandalism or robbery. As far as commute time, Lakemoor is minutes out from main highways but over all, there are main roads that would put you to freeways for you to commute to big cities or states. Over all, it is a wonderful place for you to live and to raise a family. Children's can be left alone and play in from of their houses. This makes Lakemoor Illinois great.
