Lake Summerset Reviews
Rating 3.67 out of 5 3 reviews
"Clicky" community with a bit of identity crisis. Majority of residents don't care for outsiders or "city folk" that buy lake/vacation homes. Creates a poor dynamic for property values and hostile attitudes towards "weekenders". Schools are fine, but should be avoided if you have children with learning disabilities or special needs. If you're looking for a low cost place to enjoy great scenery and a slow pace, and you can block out the negative aspects, good place to live.
Living in the country, especially a gated community is safer than the larger cities.
It is a small farming community with country charm.
