We moved her 8 mos. ago and my only regret is that it wasn't sooner. What you get for your housing dollar is leaps and bounds superior to West County (we moved from Ballwin). My kids can walk to their top rated grade school, which hosts multiple family events throughout the year. They are home early enough that we can hop in the car and litetally be in the water for paddle boarding, kayaking and swimming within 15 minutes. The Meadows is home to Von Maur (and other shops) and a year round Saturday Farmers' Market. Parks are accessible and abundant, people are active and pleasant, and homes are well maintained. We are close to highways 40 and 70 and a quick 15 minute drive to the Valley. It is a truly great lifestyle in Lake St. Louis.

Lake St Louis is an enjoyable place to live because of its access to city, suburb, and rural communities. St. Louis is not too far of a drive if one wants to experience that community or one of the many attractions in the city. Lake St Louis itself is an expanding mass of suburbs great for all types of families. On the rural side- wineries, parks, and other outdoor recreational locations are just a reach away. Overall, this town is a great mixture for living.
