Complaints about the weather here rarely go beyond the high frequency of rain. In the Pacific Northwest, earthquakes are a concern, as we live on major fault lines, but this area is not of particular threat. In the past, this area has been affected by the eruption of Mt. St. Helens, as well as a rare tornado in 2009. A typical fall is temperate, mostly dry with some rain, and with temperatures ranging from 45 to 65. Winter is wet with temperatures in the mid 30's to low 50's. Spring is more dry with temperatures rising into the mid 50's. Summer is typically fair with mild humidity an temperatures between 60 and 85 degrees.

Daily necessities can be easily obtained within less than a five minutes' drive of this address; walking would also be a possible form of transportation to grocery stores, convenience stores, coffee shops, locally-owned clothing boutiques, and restaurants. The majority of food available is from large chains, however, more health conscious options have begun to pop up in the last few years.
Pertaining to dining experiences, this area lacks luster. As mentioned prior, grocery stores are abundant, but the food options are largely chains and fast food. The area could be described as monopolized by chains and strip malls. However, within a fifteen minute drive or bus ride you can have access to the downtown area, which has evolved recently to include a variety of cuisines and nightlife options.
