Lake Orion Reviews
Growing up in Lake Orion, I may have a bias, however I strongly believe this town is simply beautiful. From Lake Orion lake itself, to bald mountain recreational parks and everything in between, the nature stuns. I love being outdoors here, and everyone really tries to be friendly with one another and looks out for each other. Of course, this is more of a suburb area, but you are at a perfect distance from major bustling cities such as Royal Oak, Troy, and even Detroit. Yet, the rural areas are just a step away as well. There really is something for everyone, and I have such enormous pride in being from this city.
Lake Orion is an excelent place in all seasons. We have multiple festivities throughout the year - most notably our Dragon On The Lake festival, which celebrates the rich history of our village. Downtown Lake Orion is a comfortable stroll down pleasant walkways and past bustling shops. We have top competitors in sports and the arts, with our varsity vollyball team currently in the running for a state championship and our marching band placing second at state finals.
Lake Orion has experienced so much growth in its downtown over the past five years. Small businesses are flourishing and there are many great choices for food and entertainment. The community is tight-knit, yet still very friendly. I am so excited to see what the next five years bring for Lake Orion!
