Eau Claire is a great place to start a family. It has a great school system and a low crime crime rate. As one of the larger cities in Wisconsin you'll find lots of fun activities to do and not just be surrounded by farmland. Eau Claire is home to Country Jam and Eaux Claire, two very popular summer music festivals. This city is only about an hour and a half away from Minneapolis, MN so if you're looking to make a trip to a big city it's only a short trip away.

Tourists come for the Northern Wisconsin State Fair held on our fairgrounds. We also have the Leinenkugel's Brewery which attracts people. Then a few towns away is where Country Fest, Country Jam, and Rock Fest our held bringing a few visitors to our town.
I personally know one of Eau Claire's finest police officers and he does his best every day to protect this city. The police in Eau Claire are visible and responsible. They respond quickly in times of emergency.
