There are many interesting places to visit in Lake Elsinore. Be it culinary attraction, or natural beauty, there is a sort of allure to the area. Unfortunately however, whatever interest or attraction there is for this place is easily overshadowed by the average populace of Lake Elsinore. It is a rare occurrence when there are little homeless or heavily drugged out people meandering about. The large man-made lake that this has place is known for is also very unattractive once up close. I’ve lived here 3 years and will never step foot in that water.
Lake Elsinore had always been the kind of suburban sprawl to be spattered with hidden gems within its more rustic setting. Amid a mass lake and a grand scale of mountains, Lake Elsinore could be described as a location that rewards the casual citizen with the different local cultures and events that could be experienced and lived in. At first glance, it all appears to be your typical city, when really there is more to breach the surface if one puts their mind and eyes to the right places.
Lived her for ten years. The location is good. Close to the San Diego and only 20 minutes form DT Temecula which has a lot to do. Fairly diverse. But, there are negatives. It's growing and not all growth has been "smart growth". Partly due to a lackadaisical CIty Council. The focus is on developing more houses to increase population. Unfortunately, they aren't not keeping up with traffic demands, business's, etc. There are better places to live. But there are definitely worse.
