Lake Dunlap Reviews

I have lived all over the state of Texas from Carrizo Springs, to Dallas, to Midland. I finally found the place I call home when I was 16 and I knew it was home after even a few short weeks. New Braunfels and I we have the same personality. I am a very laid back person but every now and then I get the kick to go out and "act my age" as my family likes to say. New Braunfels has the small town laid back feel to it but there are also some really fun events that come to town. I love all of the water activities available the great variety of music that comes through but most of all I love that even as long as New Braunfels has been around it has never lost the culture of those that founded the town. The German heritage runs deep through its veins from the restaurants to the yearly Wurstfest. So to anyone considering a move to the area I always tell them how passionate I am about the area. "Welcome to New Braunfels, your going to love it!"
This aspect of the town has been a little iffy in the last 2 months it seems as though violent crimes are appearing week after week. Local law enforcement suspects that it is due to a small group of people but have not been able to arrest any suspects. This is the first time in the 8 years that I have lived here that I am even a little skeptical going out after dark when I am alone. Its only a small issue right now as nothing is happening on a Large scale just the frequency of the attacks are concerning.
