Lake Clarke Shores is not a suburb of Fort Lauderdale. 30 to 40 minutes north. Located in Palm Beach County. Its a small upscale town in the middle of West Palm Beach and other surrounding Cities. Has its own small government and own police force. Soon to be ocean access when lock is built, this town home prices could possibly soar but the residents love their town and most are not willing to sell. The only nightlife is when you go out to the surrounding cities, 10 minute drive, commute time to any job in Palm Beach County is excellent. There are not a lot of business in the town but you are surrounded by other city opportunities. Lots of recreation. Riding your bike around the lake, boating, fishing and jet skiing. I love it for the safety factor. The police department knows your name.
