I love Laguna Beach for its friendly community where the residents are respectful and enjoyable. The location is are extremely safe where you can leave your door unlocked and feel like your neighbors could watch your back. The surrounding area is also extremely beautiful with amazing weather. However, Laguna Beach is quite polarized with its diversity.
A peaceful and safe place to live and raise children. The weather and opportunities and flourishing.
Great Community! Overall very safe area, amazing schools. The people who live here are friendly and welcoming.
Laguna beach police hide officers who take part in rape. Satillite terrorist. I would not go their the police frame people and will arrest you for anything. These police should be procicuted. Robbing people's social security. Dirtiest cops in California
I would like to see greater outreach for minorities in the community. Additionally, rent in the area is too much and there is a parking issue.
Beautiful place to grow up. Downtown is pretty and similar to other beach communities. Close to the beach and the mountains.
I was born here in a duplex off Myrtle St. almost 30 years ago. My whole life it's been my favorite place to go. In my personal opinion it's the best beach; we've got the clearest water, tons of marine life, and it has such a good mix of sand and rocks with tide pools. It's a walkers paradise. I can park my car for days and still have access to fresh groceries, the beach, hiking trails, even my job. I don't ever want to live anywhere else.

The location is are extremely safe where you can leave your door unlocked and feel like your neighbors could watch your back. The surrounding area is also extremely beautiful with amazing weather. However, Laguna Beach is quite polarized with its diversity. The area is dominantly white individuals so having more physical diversity would allow a better understanding of other Americans. Another way that Laguna Beach is polarized is through its class status and opinions. The status of most individuals is upper-class which can make individuals ignorant of the intense income inequality of America. The political temperature is conservative and at times it is like being in an echo chamber during debates.
I've lived in Laguna Beach since I was born and I love it here. It's a small city and pretty expensive, but people are friendly and the beach is beautiful.
I live there, and I can say it is one of the most friendly communities I've been to. I'm speaking of the places on the Canyon, not the beachside properties where all of the rich people live. I will say one thing that has bothered me lately is all of the new 'development' downtown. An example being the new parking area they renovated. It may look more attractive, but it eliminated a large amount of parking space, which is something that is very hard to come by in Laguna. I simply disagree with the city's use of tax dollars to turn parking spaces into weird and unnecessary design platforms.
The beach is beautiful and everyone in the town is so friendly. The town is always alive no matter the season and there is great art everywhere you look.
Laguna Beach is a wonderful beach community. It is very tourist friendly, which has its pros and cons as a resident. Great beaches environment and weather. Good for young families or retirees.
I love the small town/ big city cross-over feel of Laguna Beach. It's a beautiful place and I love the tide pools by the shore. Very price-y though. I'm rooming with 3 other students in a 2 bedroom apartment and the rent total is still about $700 each month. I've only been here for about a year but I love it though.
Lovely place to visit. Full of awesome art!
Lovely place to visit. Full of awesome art!
I love the art community here, the school I go to (LCAD) and the beautiful beach downtown. the downside is all the traffic.
It has become very over populated. It has the best beaches though and rare dining experiences. There are only two ways in to the city, so traffic can accumulate quite quickly. The best restaurants in Laguna are Coyote Grill and Nicks.
Laguna Beach is for the most part a family friendly environment. Filled with plenty of beaches and shops, there is never nothing to do in the beautiful city. It does attract plenty of tourist from all over the world which adds to the diversity of the city itself.
Great little town to visit and in live! This town has many artistic characteristics as well as beautiful scenery of beaches and mountains. The beautiful trails are amazing to hike all year round!
