Lafayette is a very small town that sometimes hinders advancements and opportunities. I have lived here my entire life and I want to go back to college so that I can further my education and thrive even in a small town. You know everyone here and more times than not you are related to everyone! There are local restaurants though that make the small town a little better. It is also nice to know that you can usually rely on your neighbor.

LaFayette is a historic small town close to Chattanooga, Tennessee. It is known for large caves, and is also close to Cloudland State Park and many waterfalls. It is a great city, where everyone knows each other. There are so many family-owned restaurants and stores as well as large companies and corporations. It was always easy for me to find things to do in and around LaFayette. There is an annual festival downtown called the Honeybee festival. Local and popular musicians perform, and vendors as well as food trucks line the streets. Holidays are celebrated throughout the town all year. It is a great place to grow up. It is a great place to raise a family. It is a great place to raise future families.
There's nothing quite like growing up in a small, southern town. Everyone is friendly, and would do anything to help someone out. There's always something to do, especially with all of our trails and caves. We're also in a great location, you can live in the country, but be close to Chattanooga or Atlanta. It'd be the perfect place to start a family.
