The people of Lacombe make this small town worth being in. Unfortunately, it is not as exciting as one would hope. There are not many events or festivities around the area that often. There is also a big problem for the youth of Lacombe. There tends to be violence in the area at times. If local officials would spend the time and money to better develop the area, then I believe that the risk for youths would not be a problem.
Lacombe, Louisiana is a very small town in between Mandeville and Slidell. Majority of the people living here are related due to the small size of the town. Everyone knows everyone and there is not much conflict. Even though there is not much to do here, the family bond (or family-like bond) in which the residents of this town share with each other cannot be compared to any place else.
