La Vista is a pretty area, with expensive housing and renting. There are plenty of chain restaurants and big box stores minutes away. The proximity to the city of Omaha is convenient, and the suburb sits to the south, so it is a relatively close commute to Lincoln.

I love the support my community gives to the school, activities and local parks. We have a small town feel among a larger city with such a positive vibe.
Road improvements could be improved and snow emergency guidelines are not followed.
I feel pretty safe living in this neighborhood. The commute is not bad at all. I feel like it’s in between every place I want to go; approximately 15 minutes. The changes I would like to see is more shopping centers and stores availability around La Vista. However, they are working on building more stores at the moment, so I have no complaints.
