The city of La Verne, Ca needs more streetlights, because the neighborhoods are very dark. Also, more bike lanes are needed for cyclists and runners like myself. There is a cute downtown area right next to the University college campus. The area is quiet, safe and friendly. I have yet to hear or witness any troublesome occurrences because the city seems to be well protected and managed by residents, city staff and law enforcement. The housing is divided into three classes: working, middle and mildly upper. I happen to be at the bottom of the scale but do not feel out of place by any means. I would highly recommend this community to someone looking for a location to raise a family or somebody who likes the idea of a quiet, cohesive commonplace.

Such a beautiful and peaceful neighborhood. Neighbors are all so nice and kind. Schools, shopping centers, and parks are all close and can be walking distance. La Verne has a cute downtown area that has lights and a whole street of restaurants. It is a very calm place to live, there are children playing outside most of the day. People walking their dogs and just taking strolls. This city has my heart and is definitely the perfect place to raise a family or just lay back. Such a clean and amazing area.
La Verne is great a suburb of Los Angeles. This town is a small, quaint suburban town, and a great place to raise a family. There are a lot of locally-owned restaurants, cafes, shops throughout town, while still having a plethora of typical markets to shop at. The city of La Verne is very safe, and I feel comfortable walking on the streets alone. The school system here is very nice, and there is a small private university located in the old town area. Additionally, there's also an extensive library, movie theater, and farmers market.
