I like that La Joya is a very small suburb city where many neighborhoods are connected through people with families and schools that have many students to allow them to develop friendships and bonds with others like no other. I wish for the streets to change because the city is becoming overpopulated so too much congestion takes place at around 5 and 6 o'clock in the evening when teachers are going home and students are leaving school.

La Joya is a small town in South Texas and I like it because it is welcoming. The School district does everything they can to make us feel part of society, they try their best to give the essentials that us as students need to succeed in life. It might be a small town but there is no doubt that there is potential in all the students.
No political awareness, wrought with complacency, awareness lies with family and community affairs only. The only sort of entertainment in the area lies with its gambling dens that have recently been shut down by higher levels of authority since the local PD is corrupt and have proven their corruption in the attempted cover up of a prisoner rape victim by a jailor associated with the mayor the city.
