LaGrange Park is a small suburb in Chicagoland. It's mostly residential, but has many good restaurants and stores, in particular near Memorial Park. The park itself holds weekly music concerts in its outdoor amphitheater during the summer. There are many forest preserves around the area as well in which to walk or ride your bike. The schools in the area are all very good, and the high school not only has won multiple awards in many areas, it also qualifies students for the in-district prices of two different community colleges. LaGrange Park is also nearby other popular downtown areas, namely those of LaGrange and Brookfield, and Metra trains from either place take you even further for an affordable price.

La Grange Park is an above average western suburb of Chicago. There is plenty to do here, especially because of the downtown area. In downtown, there are plenty of places for you to eat, shop, or get a haircut. The school systems here are great, coming from someone who grew up here. The only downside is the lack of diversity in people.
La Grange Park is perfect for raising a family or beginning a life on your own because of its accessibility to the train and the adorable, popular downtown it offers. The community is very kind and involved.
