La Crosse Reviews

La Crosse is an absolutely beautiful city on the Mississipi river, its wondrous bluffs and gorgeous scenery make it pretty nice to look at. La Crosse has a really strong sense of community and a superb health system having two hospitals open for attendance. A bountiful selection of neat community programs and downtown shopping, and speaking of downtown, the lively nightlife with many places to go to suit your entertainment desires. I will say there is a large drinking demographic, so depending on how you view drinking, other than that the crime rate is pretty low, plenty of job opportunities and more!
Review La Crosse
La Crosse, WI not only has the beautiful landscape of the bluffs and Mississippi river but the community itself is one that I have never experienced before. Prepare to say "hi" to people you don't know as you pass on the side walk. Take advantage of the numerous community activities and parades such as Oktoberfest, Granddad half marathon/ youth races, Hixon forest bike races, and many more. No matter what time of year there is always a plethora of activities to involve yourself in both outside and inside. Neighborhoods are friendly and those specifically around the campus area take pride in keeping a clean and safe environment. The night life is also a huge part of La Crosse's attractions. The La Crosse Center located down by the river is constantly bringing in big name performers and is located right next to the main down town area which has a huge variety of taverns, shops, and restaurants.
The food and drinks around this area pretty good. There is a brand new sushi place that had the most awkward customer service but amazing sushi! The sushi was heaven and tasted like how the sushi was described and looked. Also another place that has sort of a awkward customer service but amazing food and drinks is Buffalo Wild Wings. The best drink there has to be the Mango Lemonade and the best flavor wing has to be Caribbean Jerk. The best time to go out for Buffalo Wild Wings is around eight at night on a Tuesday or Thursday night, because wings are only sixty cents! That is when the party starts! Everyone gets all hyper and everyone is enjoying watching sports, drinking their drinks and especially the variety flavors of wings! In closure, the food and drinks around this area is great and there is more to explore!
