La Crosse is full of hidden gems for people of all ages! The town is comprised of college students, young families, retirees, and professionals, as La Crosse hosts two of the best hospitals in the country. The town's main source of revenue is based on hospitality and tourism so there are always festivals going on, as well as plenty of restaurants, cafes, and quaint shops to keep you busy. It's also a great place for anyone who loves the outdoors as it's surrounded by bluffs with plenty of hiking and biking trails, located on the Mississippi... it's truly a hidden gem!

La Crosse offers many fun events from fun on the river to walking downtown! I enjoy all the food options in La Crosse, and the entertainment, such as escape rooms and make your own pottery. As a resident who lives near by, I always go to La Crosse when I am bored or need something to do. Some areas of La Crosse, however, can be scary since I am not use to a big city. Overall. the city of La Crosse offers activities for people of all ages, and it has a beautiful landscape unlike any other area in Wisconsin.
La Crosse is a town between beautiful bluffs and the scenic Mississippi River. The bluffs offer many hiking and mountain biking options and the river offers sandbars, boating, kayaking/canoeing, fishing and swimming options. The town encourages a healthy lifestyle by including bike lanes on the streets and roads. There are also many trails that link to neighboring communities. The restaurant options are very diverse; some for the health and environmentally conscious to those looking for the best steak around! There many artists in the community and several of the privately owned coffee shops proudly display and sell these artists' work. I have worked in La Crosse for many years and live very nearby. It is where I plan to call home for years to come.
