Knoxville is a great place to live if you want to live in a quiet area. This means, everyone hears everything. If you enjoy listening to people talk about others and you, yourself, enjoy talking about others, Knoxville, Illinois is the place for you! It is also very safe. There are always cops around to pull people over if they're speeding 10 miles over the speed limit to get to work. But, if your car gets broken into in the school parking lot, well, there's just not much they can do. My overall experience in Knoxville, Illinois has made me realize that I would love to live somewhere with more diversity and less ignorance.

Knoxville is a quiet, small town. Speaking of, barely nothing happens in the town, but once something does, word spreads very fast.
Knoxville is a small rural community. It has excellent schools and is a wonderful place to grow up. The town strives to bring in new businesses with restaurants and some local retail stores. Knoxville is the kind of town where everyone knows everyone else.
