My family moved to Knightdale about 3 years ago and we absolutely love the lifestyle here. It is filled with up and coming suburban neighborhoods with such affordable prices. Everyone from Raleigh is moving to the Knightdale area because it's nice, peaceful, and close to Raleigh and any other small town in the triangle area. It's easy to get to and from the highways, which makes commuting to work easy if you work in nearby cities. Knightdale Blvd. has everything you might need for all your grocery shopping needs, retail, food, the gym, banks, and more. It's a very nice place to live with easy access to anywhere you want to go, whether that is in Knightdale or nearby cities!

It is a nice but growing town. I personally have some concerns regarding crime. First of all in 2018 there were 12 rapes and 24 stolen vehicles and 21 aggravated assaults. Given the small size of the town it seemed a bit much in terms of rapes. One rape is too many but 12 is very troubling. There were also 26 arrests and 110 citations for drug law violations for 2018. And recently an independent review of our fire department showed some very troubling issues in terms of lack of fire fighters and insufficient equipment. But overall it’s a growing town that I live in and like. I just think our current political leadership is more concerned with building town homes, condos. We need more police officers and fire fighters and soon! You can get more information regarding the Knightdale Police Department 2018 crime report and the Knightdale Fire Department “Brooks Innovative Solutions” report on line and/or the Town of Knightdale web page.
I love my town, it’s so calm but not so empty it has everything you need in a good distance. I am definitely planning to buy a house here when I get older. Even though i live in Raleigh, Knightdale is five minutes away so I go to the places in Knightdale then Raleigh. Growing up I would go to the schools in Knightdale but freshman year I had to go to a Raleigh high school and I did not like I didn’t feel as safe nor felt like people were friendly as to oppose to knightdale. The people are naturally so kind and generous! I love knightdale and love living being here.
