Kittery is a beautiful town full of kind ambitious people. The most gorgeous beaches lie within the town of Kittery and are outlets are a local hot spot! If one is to visit New England, this is not a town to ignore, as it is the first town you hit when you enter state of Maine. It's the town that really shows that Maine is really the way life should be! Not only that but Kittery is such a conveniently placed town when taking traveling into consideration.
I love Kittery for its close-knit community, historical landmarks, and beautiful scenes of the east coast. I would like to see a better school system, a reduced rate of development, and more lenient leash rules for dogs.
Kittery is a small town, about 10,000 residents. It's a great community to live in - it's like everyone knows everyone. There are beautiful local beaches, a great downtown area and is just a walk over the bridge to the larger town of Portsmouth, NH which has a very active shopping area, lots of restaurants and a great theater community.
