It's very family friendly and small, so good for local businesses.. Maybe use more diversity but overall okay.

Kirtland is a quiet town with an extremely low crime rate. It's a small town with not too much in the city, but it's right by Mentor and Willoughby which means it's incredbly easy to get to anything you could possibly need. There is a local dentist, childcare, really good school system K-12. There are quiet neighborhoods, but there is also quite a few rich places, which means depending on where you want to live, the cost of houses and all is quite expensive. It's quite a religious town as well.
I have lived in Kirtland, OH all of my life. This place is home. I love that it has a country/wooded area feeling, yet within 12-15 minutes of major highways. Most commutes are about 20 minutes, and I am happy and used to this. It is a safe place with beautiful features like Holden Arboretum, Lake Farmpark, and other Metroparks. It is small and quaint, but to me, it is home.
