Kingsland is a busy little town. Great views of the hills, lakes and spring flowers can be seen with every look. There are many friendly faces and smiles. Kingsland has a small hometown family feeling with many local shops to visitl.
Let me first start by saying Kingsland has one of the nicest lakes in the whole state of Texas..Lake LBJ. It was named after our 36th president of the united states. He used to live in the area and even had a house on the lake itself. He is buried not far from there in Stonewall, Texas. The summers are great with lots to do on the water. On the Fourth of July the town has an event called Aqua Boom where everyone sits on their dock and watches the parade on the lake and the fireworks once the sun goes down. It is a really great place to visit.
This is a nice community with great scenery of lake LBJ and of the Hill Country. In addition this is great spot for bluebonnet photos during the spring time.
