Kingsland is a small but family orientated town in southern GA. Everyone is very supportive of one another, especially when it comes to our local high school. Almost the entire town comes together to watch the games at the Camden County High School.

This is a small town with very little to do. Most of the residents will travel to Jacksonville whenever they want to do something. The people here are friendly, and the cops are not corrupt. The only thing I really like to do here is to go to my piano instructors house for lessons, other than that, Kingsland is a quite boring area to live. There are parks in town, but the bug population is so high that it makes it hard to enjoy. The water here is very hard and has a tendency to ruin the plumbing in a house as well as the dishes if you don't keep up with your water softener. There are stores here but unless you are able to get a manager job, there are few high paying jobs. Although the cost of living is very low due to the low income and with the low population, there are a decent number of homes to buy or rent. There is no public transportation and everything is very spread out with no sidewalks, which forces every individual to need to purchase a vehicle.
kingsland is a small town but that does not mean that it is lackluster. There are plenty of options when it comes to restaurants, grocery stores, churches, and community events. Kingsland is beautiful and woodsy and not to far away from the beach, the river, the barrier islands, okefenokee swamp, and cities like jacksonville. So you can enjoy the small town atmosphere but easily visit other ecosystems, or shopping districts. Kingsland is also home to several good subdivisions, and highly rated schools.
