Spring and Fall are really nice here, but when it comes to Winter and Summer it can be a pain. Though I like winter it is a major issue when you are trying to get to work when you don't live on a main road. Snow plows don't make it into neighborhoods at the proper time, and that is were most people live who work in the surrounding cities. Once you make it out though everything is pretty clear since the road crews tend to plan ahead for bad weather. Though there planning ahead helps when it actually does snow, is good the over use of salt and corrosive solvents has destroyed all the roads around here, we live in pot hole city! Summer is the worst, it is sticky and humid the entire time.
Quiet and nice neighborhood. Schools are great. There are several parks for children and a pool. Neighbors are friendly and helpful.
Trying to find work that you enjoy and are passionate about is really hard in this area. And I think it is mostly because there are larger more well known names out there that offer the same services at lower cost to the consumer, which is a double edged sward. There is a want for work and an care for the craft around here, but it is hard to even get a job because the smaller business are struggling financially they can not afford to hire new people or give raises to the current employees to keep them. I currently work at a small business, but we are struggling due to lack of advertising on my bosses part. The people that work here are very caring and loyal, but there are other larger "name brand" business that offer the same services that we do, but with out as much love and care that we put into our work.
