It was a pivotal point in the war. My small hometown is a place that most people know each other or someone in their family. Plus we all pull together as one when we need to. It is such a great communinty to live in. If you need help, all you have to do is reach out and there is always someone there to help. I can't say enough about my hometown. Kings Mountain is a beautiful historic town going through constant development, with the intent of keeping the "small-town" feel. Newcomers rave about how nice it's inhabitants are. It's public school system is one of the best in the nation. The commute to and fro work is very reasonable because of the fact that it is right in the middle between Charlotte and Shelby, two larger populated areas. I love this town!
It is the perfect small town! There are lots of activities. The down town area is full of shops, restaurants, and salons. It is quiet, and calm here. There are great schools for kids all ages. If you are looking to move away from the big city life, while still having easy access to it this is the place for you.
