The area and town I live in is truly great. the people are truly so friendly, and because of the size, everyone knows everyone. this helps hold everyone accountable. I moved to Kingfisher from California, and the atmosphere of this small town trumps big city life any day. if I had the opportunity to move all over again, I think I would still choose Kingfisher. yes, living in another country and living a lavish lifestyle would be great, but that's not realistic for me. Kingfisher provides thriving options to get plugged in with great people with great job opportunities. I see myself having a family and raising my children here, in Kingfisher.

A great little town in central Oklahoma that is growing slowly while holding on to is the charm of yesteryear.
Kingfisher is a very welcoming town. It is a place where everyone knows everyone. I have lived here all my life and love it. I am proud to be a Kingfisher Yellowjacket because of the opportunities available.
