East Killingly is just beautiful, unfortunately the towns zoning department ruins home ownership. Authoritative disrespectful and power hungry. I know several people that left town over their nonsense.
Overall, Killingly a decent community. It offers something for everyone... The public library offers activities for children to participate in, the Little Theatre allows children under 18 to audition for plays (mostly musicals), and the school system (depending on your interests) is excellent.
Killingly is a nice place to grow up. Unfortunately, there aren't many jobs in the immediate area so many commute to Providence, RI or Hartford, CT for work. The relaxed country atmosphere is very nice though.
