I have been living in Killeen for 18 year now and I do love that the cost of living is low. However, I would like to see some growth in Killeen, especially some healthy and modern restaurants or up to dates stores that we can at least buy a variety of items from. This is the city of the biggest Army base in the nation but there isn't much to do around the time. So many people sometimes get in trouble because we have to drive at least one hour to do something different. I can admit that the diversity of people here is amazing. You will meet anyone from any nation here which I have always loved about Killeen. It's almost not to have love for some countries because there are a lot of restaurants and people I know that cook really great food!

City is getting bigger and more diverse by the day! I've lived here all my life and have seen the city grow and develop tremendously over the years. The people from Killeen are very friendly. I have loved all the public schools I've attended because they have had great teachers and education programs. More and more people are moving here because of how affordable it can be and how it is not far from major cities. There are plenty of nice restaurants and places where people can dine and have a good time.
Killeen is a decent place to live. There are several different types of restaurants, from Greek to Ethiopian. As a military based community. Most residents are helpful and look after each other. Sidewalks throughout the neighborhood make walking kids to and from school much easier. I would like to see more family friendly activities in the community, with better advertisement of such events. There are tons of parks in the area, which is a great bonus.
