Killeen is a very calm city. I enjoy living in this place because I find comfort in knowing that I can trust the people around me. The city itself does not contain much trouble, based on what I have seen. Like every other city there are the few people that are sometimes difficult or cause problems but it is not something to worry about. The schools in the city are very diverse and have good education opportunities as well as consist of a lot of support from staff and administration. The cost of living is affordable and good for people that just want to have some down time and enjoy life. There are available jobs for almost everyone starting at the age of sixteen and the payment is good enough to survive off of depending on what the job is and how many people you live with. I enjoy Killeen and I feel that others do too!

I lived here 11 years and I can say that killeen is growing! We have great schools, with the goal of making kids attend for scholarships and receive that high education. We also have more attractions like a trampoline park and later tag and more! We also have a huge army base and the safety level is High, so far nothing bad has happened and the community is safe as ever! We also have wonderful food places with great food! We also have wonderful stores to buy from and the service is great. The years that I lived here I can say that what makes this community great is that it’s safe and it’s easy to move around not that many crowded roads.
Diverse population due to location next to a military base. Crime is higher than that in neighboring towns. Wide range of shopping centers including malls, restaurants and boutiques. Amazing civic center where monthly events are held. Education system is lacking discipline and structure. Many job opportunities are present. Family friendly in some parts of the town. Real estate is cheap and easy to access. Traffic is mild. Cleanliness is questionable as trash is visible throughout the town. Overall a decent town.
