This is a great place to call home and come back to. The food is amazing, it's really safe, and a good family oriented city. I wouldn't choose anywhere else to grow up in if i had the chance to do this all over again. In terms of overall satisfaction and the minimal places I have been in this country, i would rate Kansas City as one of the top places to grow up and start a family in. In the future I definitely see a more improved downtown area. I feel like the unnecessary street car will go away and we'll create a system that is more effective and costs less.

Every city has some sort of problem with crime and safety, but I feel as if Kansas City is very safe. The police and medical units are very responsive.
Crime has not affected me or any of my neighbors.
