We bought here, on a recommendation from a friend. The first time I visited to the waterfront, it was love at first sight! I come from a boating family, and the Bayshore lifestyle felt familiar and calming. Keyport is a beautiful and evolving town. There are many great restaurants, shops, yoga classes, a unique gym, a Salt room, Vodka distillery coming soon! You can experience live music, arts, and more. There are so many organizations to join. It may be a small town (just under 1.5 SQ miles and 7k residents) but Keyport is a true Norman Rockwell kind of town. Many neighbors are so friendly. I enjoy walking and taking in the beautiful views of historic homes and the waterfront. The elementary school is improving and (hopefully)continuing on that path. The high school, however, leaves a great deal to be desired. But don't fret, there are other amazing county high schools to try for, including High Technology High(top rated in the nation). It's a great little waterfront town!

Keyport NJ is such an evolving town! I have lived in Keyport for the past 16 years, and in that time the waterfront has been beautifully redone. The waterfront can serve as a great place to walk your dog, fish, jog, hangout, or even attend an "outdoor movie at the park." The School system has consistently improved and outdone itself in the past several years. With a friendly neighborhood feel, Keyport is safe to go for a run, or walk your dog at day or night. Whether you're exploring on the Henry Hudson Trail, or visiting the local skate-park and playground, there's always a fun outdoor activity. Keyport has a great variety of restaurants through the town including Old Glory, McDonagh's Restaurant and Pub, Drew's Bistro, Burlew's Seafood and Steak, and many more. There are also some great spots for a quick bite on the go that you're sure to love including Mike's Giant Sized Submarines, Keyport Fishery, The Keyport Diner, and so much more. Come on down to Keyport and see for yourself!
What I enjoy about Keyport is the beauty of it. Due to the high school having many clubs (key club, environmental club, art club) that help improve the community aesthetically to the many fun activities held at the waterfront, you can always enjoy a day in Keyport. In the summer, everyone looks forward to the Fireman's Fair. Because of how beautiful the Keyport waterfront is, with its view of New York, it is often that people will visit to take pictures for events such as weddings and prom. Throughout the town, there are stores and restaurants that have gotten great reviews; Nemo's, a small place to get sushi if you're ever in the mood, has provided many with great meals. Though it is on the small side, it is very common that families from towns over visit Keyport for a nice day. If I could change anything about the town, it'd be the amount of litter scattered around. Though it's been worked on, if everyone pitched in, Keyport could be even more of a sight.
