Kettering is a nice and lovely suburb of Dayton! The town does not have a specific "down town" area, which is quite unique and something that I personally enjoy. There is much to do in Kettering if you're willing to work around, and the area is extremely safe with amazing police and fire departments. The school system is also a very high mark for Kettering. I believe that Kettering has a fantastic public school system and I would love for my kids to go to school in Kettering if/when I have kids in the future. Overall Kettering is a fantastic town that I am proud to call my home!

This is the town I grew up in and I couldn't choose a better one. Clean, friendly, tons of activities, hundreds of miles of walking and biking trails, amazing metro parks, stellar libraries, great schools, good shopping and incredible arts and culture and restaurants for a town this size!
I would say that Kettering is a beautiful town, with beautiful houses and great people. Soon after moving into my neighborhood our neighbors stopped by to welcome us. A few months later, we had a street party outside. We have had a few night issues though. One night, we must have accidentally left our car door unlocked. During the night, someone must have gotten into our car looking for something. They did not take anything, but it was a little unnerving to know that someone had broken into our car. Other than that though, I love Kettering. Also, I believe the public schools are pretty good, though I go to a private school.
