I loved growing up in Ketchum, Idaho. There is something so special about the town and the people. Everyone is so friendly and genuine. Ketchum has so much to offer as a town. There are tons of outdoor activities that you can never be bored regardless of the time of year.
This is a terrible place to visit. We were stuck in Ketchum for lack of a better word, and we would definitely NEVER choose to come here otherwise. The area is extremely beautiful, the people... horribly ugly. We had a day to burn due to a gymnastics tournament that gave us a day to explore the town. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME IN THE RUDLY RAN EXTREMELY OVERPRICED SHOPS!!! We just spent the day going shop to shop and almost every single shop owner was rude as they could be. The extreme exception was Madeline and Oliver. That shop owner was very friendly. The people around here just act better than everyone else. I’m a down to earth carpenter, not a snooty wine drinker... maybe that makes all the difference. But if you would like to go somewhere where they are happy to take your money don’t go here. Don’t get me wrong... they will DEFINITELY take your money, they are just not nice about it.
