Kent is amazing, the people are very friendly and welcoming! I am an international student here at Kent State University. Ive been very involved in the community and its really been a great experience. People around here are excited to learn about me and where I come from and they have taken the time to show me the town and teach me things about Kent. There are some of the best places to eat downtown and the night life is always fun on the weekends. There is a lot of construction that happens around campus, but nothing extreme. Overall it has been a great community to be apart of for the past few years.

It is a small cute little college town that is just right outside of the university. They have great places to eat and shop at. It is not a huge city but you can definitely find something interesting to do to keep yourself occupied. Pease, Love, and Little Doughnuts is a must go-to place! It is so unique and the best doughnuts I have ever had.
If you love going out to restaurants, taking walks in relaxing and scenic parks, and go out and enjoy the nightlife with your friends or significant other then Kent is the place for you. There is so much to do here and see. It is also Home to Kent Stste University which is a great school I may add. So if your ever looking to come here please do! You won’t regret it.
