I love living in Kensington because it is a diverse neighborhood with several parks within walking distance. I have a big backyard and share a 4 bedroom house with a total of 6 people. Neighbors are respectful of noise during reasonable times, and I have never been kept awake by noise. Kensington has a farmers' market a few minutes walking distance away that is every week no matter the weather. We also have local shops and the BART station in our neighborhood. This neighborhood is a close distance to 2 colleges with a bus stop at the end of our street. Street parking is free and easy to get spaces. I feel safe here in Kensington and am glad I chose to live here!
Ah Kensington. It's a very nice safe place to live. People say it's diverse but nope it's not. Only white people and maybe some asians. Wish I could live here cause it's an ideal place to live when your retired. But it's too expensive and only wealthy educated people can live here. I hope some residents can take a stroll down to Richmond or maybe even El Cerrito to see how some cities/neighborhoods are struggling. Maybe even take your kids there to educate them since your all so educated.
Kensington is a very friendly and safe community in which everyone seems to know each other. I personally love living in Kensington because it is a quiet and amazing neighborhood and I really feel at home in it. The people of Kensington are also very friendly and make excellent neighbors. Kensington is a great place to live, with many people to share the experience with.
