I have been a part of the Kennett Square community for my entire life - nearly 17 years. Our little town has so much to offer, including beautiful parks, delicious cuisines, an excellent school districts, lovely boutiques in town, and plentiful parades that celebrate a wide range of events. Kennett Square also provides individuals with a myriad of ethnicities and activities for all ages. Besides priding ourselves of being the #1 Mushroom Capital of the world, we are proud to recognize and acknowledge the individuals who stand behind the success. Needless to say, the community of Kennett Square is among the very best.

Kennett Square is a great place to live. The people are very friendly and the town is overall very safe. There are a lot of activities in town to do for families with younger children. There are many restaurants with a broad range of different types cuisine- you will always be able to find something delicious! The town also puts on a variety of fun events throughout the year, such as the Mushroom Festival, the Kennett 5K, and the Mushroom Drop of New Year’s Eve. One downside of Kennett Square is that there is not much for adolescents to do around town. Most places in the town and surrounding area require a car to get to.
Kennett Square is a nice little place that has a lot to show if you look for it. It's very peaceful and when you live here locally there is a lot of things that are within walking distance. There are gyms, a library and lots of places to go eat at all withing walking distance from each other. The high school is very nice puts the student's safety and learning at the top of their priorities. There's also an annual mushroom festival which takes place in the center of town and people from all over the world come to see it. There is also the Garage Comunity and Youth Center, a non-profit which helps students with things like homework or getting a mentor. Overall it's a good place if you are looking for something more laidback not necessarily for people that like to party all day every day.
