Kenmore is a quiet suburb of Seattle, with easy access to many surrounding cities, and great neighborhoods to raise a family in. Part of the great Northshore School District, schools in Kenmore are thoughtful, and teach students well. Plenty of good restaurants all around- everyone will have a favorite place to eat!
Kenmore is fine, it's growing a lot and has become more of a sought out place to live in the last 10 years.
Very good neighborhood and even better school system. This place is amazing in terms of quality of life but only if you have the money avalible.
Kenmore is up and coming. It is next to a bike path that stretches down to Seattle. Some areas still need to be developed but its safe
It's a small suburban town. Quiet and peaceful. The air quality and pollution is better than in downtown Seattle.
Kenmore is great! There are plenty of summer events offered by the city for families. Great community spaces like the Hangar are also available.
Kenmore is where I grew up and am currently living. The location is great since it is right outside of Seattle, while still being a suburb. There are parks and trails nearby with a lot of outdoor activities such as hiking that is a short drive away. Over the years, Kenmore has grown in population, which has caused the cost of living to rise, which makes it difficult as a college student.
I have grown up in Kenmore and appreciate its diversity. It is VERY expensive to live in Kenmore, but that's just how the Seattle area is. The Northshore School District is well funded though this end of the district is being somewhat neglected as the other half is severely overcrowded. Kenmore has been a great place to grow up.
Kenmore is home to Bastyr University, which is nestled into St. Edwards state park. It is a small town with a strong community vibe despite diverse economic and ethnic inhabitants. The park has miles and miles worth of trails and the best of those reach the waterside.
So much of the best waterfront in all of Puget Sound is closed off as exclusively accessible only to the rich, but Juanita Bay in Kirkland is absolutely adorable, with a walk-around 1/2 mile deck path out into the water. As you move on up Juanita Dr NE, a slight turn right into Hughes Point offers more public beachline as a part of Kirkland Parks. Even though this is all officially "Kirkland", it is attached to the best of Kenmore, along Juanita Dr. NE to Bothell Way NE.

Fantastic place to live, the schools are great and the setting is gorgeous! We enjoyed raising our kids there!
Great school district, smaller town evolving into a thriving suburban area! Also some great food/beer places.
The area has retained much of its nature feel giving a nurturing environment for the soul. For those that enjoy a more urban feel it is quite close to many urban entertainment options that could keep a person busy for a lifetime.
It is a small town with a variety of people. There are a number of small, family owned businesses and restaurants. There are many different apartment complexes and neighborhoods, as well as excellent schools in the area
I love how quite & peaceful it is (somewhat like living in the country but with the convenience of stores ect not 30 + miles away) I also have been extremely blessed/greatful with the beautiful gated entry waterfront condo in Kenmore. I've truly seen the most beautiful sunrise & sunsets along with the breath taking views I wake up to every morning!
Kenmore needs more variety in restaurants and places to hangout. Used to more of a small-town feel, now there is too much construction going on and too many houses being built.
Kenmore is a beautiful neighborhood to live in. The only down side is the homeless people making it up from the Burke Gilman Road. Otherwise, this city is amazing by the water.
Kenmore is a small suburb off the big city of Seattle, Washington. It has a small town feel and a friendly ambience. They host a full sized library, have movies in the park, a fireworks show and enjoy many community based activities.
