Kendallville is a city in Indiana. It is a small town and can be lacking in job opportunities. But, many find jobs outside of kendallville while still living there since they can easily drive to another town which takes a short time to get to. It is a very safe, small town and quite rural in some areas.
Kendallville is a great city to live in, especially if you are focused on family. It is a smaller town that has plenty of things to do for the whole family. If you live here long enough, you will probably know almost everybody in town.
Its a decent place to have a family. The school academics are amazing and the athletic departments are unbeatable!
Kendallville is a small town, but that doesn't mean there is nothing here. Kendallville has several restaurants as well as a few car dealerships as well. There is also a movie theater and a public lake with a beautiful park and campground. It's small town life with some of the city conveniences. If you need something that isn't here, Fort Wayne is only a half hour away.
Kendallville is a really horrible place! The schools have alot of bullying and the people there are very racist! The schools do pretty good for testing and all that, but the way they teach is really old school. They have to many kids in one classroom! Not enough spending on education. The roads are very bad! You can't get around without a car! The people are very stand offish and kinda mean. There is not much jobs here, just mediocre factory jobs and retail like Wal Mart. but they dont pay enough to cover a good car and a decent place to live. But cost of living in Indiana is pretty low. Kendallville is nothing special! best thing to do is to get out!
Kendallville is not the worst town someone could live in. Sometimes there are fun things to do and there are many activities and sports available to participate in. The diversity of Kendallville is all over the place, including small amounts of many different races.
Kendallville is a very small but kid-friendly environment that does an excellent job at making its community feel safe. The maintenance around town is very good as well as the facilities within the town. Kendallville is always updating its culture to make it feel welcoming to people from all diverse cultures.
It's a decent little town. They need to put something for the younger kids to do here. Had a bowling alley but that closed. Have to go to one of the next towns to do anything. That drive is from 20 to 30 minutes away.
I liked Kendallville in the sense that it was a nice place to grow up, but there's not a lot to do there aside from go to the movies or go to the park. There aren't a lot of places to go out to eat.
Appling for the scholarships are easy and fast! I would recommend this to everyone needing some assistance in going to college.
In the past Noble County had a serious Drug problem (Meth) but in the last few years, because of great efforts and raised awareness, our area has slowly started to control and better the situation. The crime is increasingly less prevalent and besides that niche of the community Kendallville is not too bad. It has crime just like every other area that has any concentration of people. There is occasional vandalism and theft like any other area, but no serious pre-dominance of things like murder or kidnappings or similar extreme events.
Kendallville is a pretty average American town. It's smaller with a decent school system that is systematically improving. There used to be a culture of racism (as in many places in America) partially because there was not any sizable non-white communities within the area. There are now more people of color, including a new and ever growing Yemen community. The education I got was sufficient, and the Crime problem (narcotics problem) in my county has been steadily getting better in the last 5 years. In general Kendallville is an average place that is mostly staying consistent, if not getting better.
Kendallville is a safe town. It's very rare to hear about any major crimes happening here on the news.
There are not many abandoned houses, or properties. The cost to live here is cheap, and overall anywhere to live here isn't bad crime wise.
There is a huge sense of community here, most people that live here have lived here for years, and the majority of people have grown up here. It's by no surprise that some aren't too warm when it comes to newcomers.
Crime and safety isn't a huge concern where I live. It would be nice to have more sidewalks, and street lighting, but it is a smaller town so this isn't completely necessary.
The town I live in has a lot of pride. The people show a sense of community through parades, school functions, and other social gatherings. Compared to other places I've lived it is just a bit racist. As a hispanic woman, sometimes I feel as if I'm not welcome in certain places, or like I do not fit in with the community.
